Data Center Facility Engineer

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Facility Engineer to join their team in Chicago. This role reports to the manager of Data Center Facility Engineering and is crucial for ensuring the operation, maintenance, and efficiency of Oracle's mission-critical facilities infrastructure. The position involves coordinating with internal and external teams to maintain continuous power and cooling availability in data centers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data center operations and maintenance, along with an Associates degree or higher in an electrical or electronic discipline. They must possess a Journeyman electrical license or higher and demonstrate strong technical expertise in building systems.

Key responsibilities include overseeing maintenance activities, performing electrical switching operations, testing systems, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capability to work with technical documentation and schematics.
