Oracle is seeking an experienced Data Plane Architect to join their cloud infrastructure team. This role combines deep technical expertise in cloud architecture with a focus on high-performance data plane solutions. As a Principal Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable architectures that ensure optimal data flow, low latency, and high availability in cloud environments. Responsibilities For Data Plane Architect

  • Architect Data Plane Solutions in OCI or other cloud environments
  • Performance Optimization for the data plane
  • Design secure data plane components with access control and encryption
  • Collaborate with cloud networking, storage, and database teams
  • Lead Technical Discussions as technical SME
  • Design and implement HA/DR solutions
  • Implement monitoring and observability solutions
  • Develop automated workflows for provisioning
  • Manage and optimize cloud networking components

Requirements For Data Plane Architect

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture
  • Strong experience with OCI, AWS, or Azure
  • Deep knowledge of data Streaming technologies like Kafka, Oracle Goldengate, Oracle Streaming
  • Proficiency in using cloud automation tools like Terraform, Ansible
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting
  • Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience in building highly available systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong background in cloud security principles
