Description For Data Scientist

Oracle is seeking a Data Scientist to modernize their OHAI's Payer product portfolio with AI native applications. This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new AI native cloud applications from the ground up. The role focuses on architecting, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art models to power their Payer product suite. Working within Oracle's cloud infrastructure (OCI), you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to unlock machine learning capabilities across products. Responsibilities For Data Scientist

  • Design and develop solutions for medical language learning through language models
  • Interpret health documents and derive meaningful insights
  • Transform rules and workflows into knowledge graphs
  • Work with Engineering team for training data acquisition and data analysis
  • Design, develop, and optimize RAG models
  • Fine-tune and optimize large language models
  • Implement NLP, NLU, and NLG techniques
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems

Requirements For Data Scientist

Python
Kubernetes
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related experience
  • 4+ years of experience in data science
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
  • Solid understanding of NLP fundamentals
  • Expertise in developing RAG models
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or R
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and strong sense of ownership
