Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare through AI/ML and Generative AI. We're seeking a Data Scientist to modernize our Revenue Cycle product portfolio with AI native applications. This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new AI native cloud applications from the ground up. You'll work with cutting-edge technology while having the stability of Oracle's established organization. The role involves developing state-of-the-art models, working with language AI, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll be part of a dynamic team working on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, building scalable solutions for healthcare challenges like contact management, workflow automation, and semantic search. The position offers significant technical and business impact potential, with autonomy to iterate on new ideas while working on mission-critical healthcare solutions. We're looking for someone who can thrive in a startup-like environment while leveraging Oracle's enterprise-scale resources.
Responsibilities For Data Scientist
- Design and develop solutions for medical language learning through language models
- Develop medical code and group code using large language models
- Work on contract interpretation
- Transform rules and workflows into decision trees using deep learning ML models
- Implement risk detection/anomaly detection using deep learning ML models
- Work with Engineering team for training data acquisition and data analysis
- Design, develop, and optimize RAG models
- Fine-tune and optimize large language models for healthcare use cases
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems
Requirements For Data Scientist
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related experience
- 2+ years of experience in data science
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with machine learning libraries
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Solid understanding of NLP fundamentals
- Expertise in developing RAG models
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Experience taking a product from 0 to 1
