Description For Data Scientist Co-Op – Construction & Engineering Global Industry Unit

Oracle is seeking a Data Scientist Co-Op for their Construction & Engineering Global Industry Unit (CEGIU). This role is part of a program intended to enhance learning experience, build networks, and accelerate opportunities to make an impact. The Data Scientist will work in a cross-functional development team to deliver the next releases of enterprise project and portfolio management products. Primary responsibilities include analyzing data from multiple products, cleansing, finding features, and building and training models to solve industry problems. The role requires SQL skills and experience with building models. The position is for May-December 2025 and is available in Bay Area (CA), Denver (CO), West Conshohocken (PA), Deerfield (IL), or Remote. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent field, returning to school for the 2025-2026 year, reside in or attend university in the US, and be able to obtain US work authorization in 2025. Python
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field
  • Returning to school for the 2025-2026 school year
  • Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025
  • Proficiency in Python development and object-oriented software design
  • Experience in developing and training models
  • SQL and previous database experience
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
