Database Architect/Senior Principal Engineer, Oracle SaaS

The Oracle SaaS Engineering organization builds and operates the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications service, a complete suite of enterprise SaaS applications with embedded AI that run on next-generation Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As a Senior Database Architect in the SaaS Continuity Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the database services for SaaS services are designed and built with the highest level of availability, performance, and resiliency. You will collaborate with other engineering teams to architect, design, and implement SaaS Services and underlying database platforms in a distributed cloud environment. The role requires deep understanding of Oracle Database and Exadata technology operating at a large-scale deployment. You will drive the technical architecture of service continuity solutions, contribute to product strategy, and develop next-generation availability and resiliency features for Oracle's SaaS cloud environment.
