Responsibilities For Database – Principal Advanced Support Engineer

  • Deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers
  • Resolve post-sales technical and non-technical customer inquiries
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers
  • Provide expert technical advice
  • Solve extremely complex, critical customer issues
  • Work with limited guidance from management
  • Provide direction and mentoring to others
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Database performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Work Pacific Timezone hours (10:00 AM to 7 PM Pacific)

Requirements For Database – Principal Advanced Support Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 8 years related experience
  • Experience with Oracle's core products, applications, and tools
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Goldengate Implementations
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle RAC architecture
  • Knowledge of Oracle ASM architecture
  • Extensive hands-on interaction with large Database management systems
  • Programming knowledge in C, C++
  • Good knowledge on Unix, Linux and/or Windows operating systems
