This role focuses on developing software solutions for configuring and managing IT environments that enable product development for Oracle Linux, Virtualization, Cloud, Solaris, and Engineered Systems. The position requires expertise in cloud technologies, security, and system administration, with a strong focus on implementing infrastructure as code solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with containerization, CI/CD, and cloud migration projects. Responsibilities For DevOps Software Engineer
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks
- Define and evolve standard practices and procedures
- Develop software for tasks associated with developing, designing and debugging software applications
- Provide direction and mentoring to others
- Re-architect and automate routine systems administration tasks
- Develop infrastructure as code solutions
Requirements For DevOps Software Engineer
- BS or MS degree in CS or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of enterprise level experience in Software Developer role
- Experience with Enterprise Java and Python
- Advanced containerization and orchestration experience (Docker and Kubernetes)
- CI/CD & build automation tooling experience
- System Administration experience (Linux/Solaris)
- Experience migrating on-prem solutions to cloud
- Must be a US citizen or able to work in the US without sponsorship
