Description For Engineered Systems Sales - Retail

Oracle Engineered Systems take infrastructure optimization to the next level. They're architected, integrated, tested, and optimized to work together. This role is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, focusing on Engineered Systems sales including Exadata Database Machine, Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance, and Private Cloud Appliance. The ideal candidate will work as part of an account team to identify, qualify, and deliver Hardware products/solutions, becoming a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision-makers. This position requires a mix of technical knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to drive Oracle's strategy into assigned accounts and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.

Responsibilities For Engineered Systems Sales - Retail

  • Lead as an individual contributor and team member, providing direction and mentoring to others
  • Work on non-routine and complex tasks, applying advanced technical/business skills
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing ones within an established geographic territory
  • Identify, qualify, and deliver Hardware products/solutions as part of an account team
  • Create and execute account plans to drive goal attainment in assigned territory
  • Coordinate with sales team members and partners to support account sales and business development strategies
  • Identify and engage appropriate partners to meet customer specifications
  • Become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision-makers
  • Drive company strategy into assigned accounts
  • Follow all company methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit
  • Ensure company sales programs are known and executed in assigned territory
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Travel frequently as required

Requirements For Engineered Systems Sales - Retail

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in sales, preferably in technology or engineered systems
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Engineered Systems and related products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and mentor others
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Proficiency in English (required to read, write, and speak)
