Junior Frontend Developer

Oracle Labs Data Studio is seeking a Junior Frontend Developer to join their team. As part of Oracle Labs, the advanced research and development arm of Oracle, you'll work on Data Studio, a web-based notebook platform for data scientists. The role involves extending Data Studio by implementing new features, enhancing existing functionality, measuring and improving performance, and fixing bugs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Working with preact/React, focusing on hooks and functional components
• Interacting with REST APIs
• Collaborating in an agile development environment
• Working with source control systems
• Operating in a Linux environment

The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and be passionate about software engineering. You'll be part of an international team developing innovative technologies used across different Oracle products.

Oracle Labs Data Studio combines live code collaboration in multiple programming languages with graph analytics and rich, interactive visualizations. It accelerates the process of exploring and gaining insights from data, supporting various programming languages and offering powerful graph analytics tools.
