As a Lead Data Scientist, you'll be part of a transformative initiative to modernize our Revenue Cycle product portfolio with AI-native applications. This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new cloud applications from the ground up, working with cutting-edge technology in a startup-like environment within Oracle's stable infrastructure.

You'll be instrumental in architecting, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art models for our Revenue Cycle product suite, focusing on medical language learning, code interpretation, and workflow automation. Working directly with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you'll build scalable solutions that impact healthcare delivery globally.

The role combines deep technical expertise in AI/ML with healthcare domain knowledge, offering the chance to solve complex challenges in healthcare data management, autonomous coding, and semantic search. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams while having the autonomy to drive technical decisions and innovations.

Responsibilities For Lead Data Scientist - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure

  • Design and develop medical language learning through language models
  • Develop medical code and group code using large language models
  • Design and optimize RAG models for information retrieval
  • Fine-tune large language models for healthcare use cases
  • Implement cutting-edge NLP, NLU, and NLG techniques
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate ML models into production
  • Work with Engineering team on training data acquisition strategy

Requirements For Lead Data Scientist - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related experience
  • 10+ years of experience in data science
  • Strong programming skills in Python and ML libraries
