Description For Lead Java Developer

Oracle is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join their team in building a high-quality application search solution. The role focuses on developing the Enterprise Crawl and Search Framework (ECSF), a middleware search framework that enables full-text transactional search. The position requires extensive experience in Java/J2EE development and search technology.

The successful candidate will work on a highly scalable, multi-tenant indexing and search platform using Elasticsearch. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing core Oracle Secure Cloud features, writing production-ready code, and driving innovation in search scalability and relevancy.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience, with a BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields. Strong expertise in Java, Python, RESTful APIs, and Web Services is essential. Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications and Elasticsearch is highly valued.

  • Excellent design and programming skills with expertise in Java, Python, RESTful API, Web Services
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and shown attention to quality and detail
  • Oracle Fusion Application confirmed experience preferred
  • Elastic Search knowledge and hands-on experience preferred
  • Experience building Software as a Service (SaaS) applications is a plus
