Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Network Operations Center Senior Manager to lead a new GPU network operations center in the USA. This role is part of the Global Network Engineering organization, managing a team of GPU engineers supporting AI/ML workloads in a distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. The position involves leading 24x7x365 operations, overseeing data collection, triage, technical analysis, and incident mitigation for physical network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with GPU/RDMA environments, and a passion for operations and customer experience. They will be responsible for building and leading an engineering organization focused on GPU delivery, health monitoring, triage automation, and diagnostic services. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting distributed AI/ML/HPC workloads across thousands of GPUs.
Responsibilities For Manager - Cloud Operations
- Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks
- Apply knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks
- Build enhancements within existing software architecture and suggest improvements
- Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed
- Lead and manage GPU network operations center in the USA
- Support 24x7 network operations of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure
Requirements For Manager - Cloud Operations
- 5+ years of experience in large scale physical network support
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering and operations management role
- Experience in a technical leadership and management role
- Experience driving hiring, onboarding new engineers and ongoing performance management
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Hardware Engineering or related field
