Description For OCI Architect

Oracle is seeking an experienced OCI Architect to join their team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role requires a TS/SCI with Poly US Clearance and offers a comprehensive package including competitive salary range of $120,100 to $251,600 plus benefits.

The position focuses on developing and implementing cloud strategies aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing comprehensive cloud architectures, including network diagrams, infrastructure components, and application integration. Key responsibilities include defining migration strategies, designing VPC environments, and implementing HA/DR strategies.

As an OCI Architect, you'll work on optimizing infrastructure resources such as compute instances, storage, networking, and databases. Security is a crucial aspect of the role, ensuring solutions meet industry-standard requirements with robust controls and encryption measures.

Responsibilities For OCI Architect

  • Develop and design cloud strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads
  • Design and document comprehensive cloud architectures
  • Define Migration strategy to move applications to the OCI
  • Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment
  • Design the Cloud network architecture
  • Design the HA / DR strategies
  • Optimize OCI infrastructure resources
  • Design & validate OCI solutions meet security and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and IT operations

Requirements For OCI Architect

  • Must currently hold and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly US Clearance
  • 10+ years of experience
  • English language proficiency
