The Data Center Infrastructure Construction team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking an Onsite Construction Manager for Colocation Infrastructure Delivery. This role involves providing an onsite presence for the construction of major data centers by colocation providers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The position requires extensive knowledge of base building data center construction, expertise in managing startup and commissioning phases, and strong problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in construction project management, focusing on data center or colocation infrastructure. This role involves maintaining a physical onsite presence between 50-100% of the time, depending on project demands, and may include international projects. The position is part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art data center facilities at scale and pace, playing a crucial role in supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's data needs and driving growth and success.
Responsibilities For Onsite Construction Manager, Colocation Infrastructure Delivery
- Provide onsite presence for major data center construction by colocation providers
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
- Analyze projects to evaluate risk profiles
- Coordinate tenant fit out integration
- Implement quality control processes

- Serve as primary point of contact between company and colocation providers
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies

- Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation input
