Oracle's Customer Success Services (CSS) is seeking a Principal Advanced Services Engineer to join their innovative team in Madrid, Spain. This role sits within the CSS Advanced Service Engineering (ASE) organization, a global team that establishes long-term trusted relationships with Oracle's key customers.
As a Principal Advanced Services Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering customer infrastructure solutions for on-premise, public, multi-cloud, and Cloud at Customer (ExaCC) platforms. The role requires deep expertise in Oracle Database products and the ability to understand customer business needs to provide optimal service.
The position demands a professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Database products, including Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Grid Infrastructure, and Enterprise Manager OEM. You'll be supporting the operation of databases and platform deployments, delivering services that drive customer success and innovation, while becoming the customer's trusted technical advisor.
Key technical areas include database troubleshooting, performance tuning, high availability solutions (Exadata, RAC, Grid Infrastructure, ASM), Oracle Multitenant, backup and recovery, migrations, and Oracle Dataguard/Standby. Advanced OS Administration skills with Unix/Linux are essential, particularly with Oracle Enterprise Linux.
