Description For Principal AI/ML/GPU Cloud Architect (Remote within US)

Oracle is seeking a Principal AI/ML/GPU Cloud Architect to work with their largest customers on cloud migration strategies and next-generation offerings. This role combines deep technical expertise in GPU/HPC architectures with customer-facing responsibilities. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable cloud solutions, working directly with Oracle's top clients to drive cloud adoption and innovation.

The position offers a unique blend of hands-on technical work and strategic consulting, requiring expertise in GPU computing, cloud architecture, and enterprise solutions. You'll be building and managing large compute clusters, developing automation tools, and serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams including Product Management and Development to create comprehensive cloud architecture blueprints.

As a Principal Architect, you'll lead technical discussions, conduct training sessions, and help shape the future of cloud computing solutions at Oracle. The ideal candidate brings both deep technical knowledge in GPU/HPC technologies and strong business acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for customers.

Responsibilities For Principal AI/ML/GPU Cloud Architect (Remote within US)

  • Build and manage large compute (GPU/HPC) clusters
  • Implement solutions through code development and scripting
  • Build automated cluster deployment tool using Terraform and Ansible
  • Work with customers in pre-sales and technical consulting role
  • Define new tailored HPC/GPU solutions
  • Help customers understand cloud-based solutions best practices
  • Conduct training sessions
  • Act as technical liaison between customers and engineering teams
  • Develop expertise in Oracle Cloud technology offerings
  • Lead efforts to share best-practice knowledge

Requirements For Principal AI/ML/GPU Cloud Architect (Remote within US)

  • Understanding of IaaS, HPC, GPU technologies, Linux OS and networking
  • Expertise with Cloud based HPC/GPU deployments
  • Scripting capability in Python, powershell, shell/bash, Terraform and Ansible
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, RDMA, InfiniBand, cluster networking
  • Working knowledge of distributed/parallel file systems
  • Experience with GPU applications
  • Experience with Container Engine (Kubernetes/Docker)
  • 5+ years of pre-sales or technical consulting
