Principal Android Developer

As a Principal Android Developer at Oracle, you will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks. You will play an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures within the software engineering division. Your responsibilities include specifying, designing, and developing software according to project specifications, as well as providing leadership and expertise in the development of new products, services, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software for Android applications
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues
• Define specifications for significant new projects
• Provide technical leadership to other software developers
• Recommend and justify major changes to existing products/services/processes
• Operate at the leading edge of technology

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• 3 to 5+ years of software engineering or related experience
• Proficiency in Android development
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
