Description For Principal Business Intelligence Cloud Technical Support Engineer

Oracle is seeking a Principal Business Intelligence Cloud Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding Fusion Applications Technologies Business Intelligence Support Team. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of Oracle Customer Support and impact the cloud community. As a senior support engineer, you'll serve as the technical interface between Oracle and its customers, OEMs, and VARs, focusing on problem resolution related to Oracle products installation and maintenance. The position requires deep expertise in multiple platforms and the ability to work independently while developing solutions to customer issues. You'll be responsible for supporting critical BI applications including Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), BI Publisher (BIP), and BI Cloud Connector (BICC). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical abilities in data warehousing, ETL, SQL, and business intelligence tools, combined with excellent communication skills to handle escalated situations and interact with various stakeholders effectively. Responsibilities For Principal Business Intelligence Cloud Technical Support Engineer

  • Deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customer base
  • Resolve technical questions regarding Oracle Electronic Support Services
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers
  • Support Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
  • Work with BI Publisher (BIP)
  • Handle BI Cloud Connector (BICC)
  • Partner with Product Development & Service Operations
  • Offer Support Services regarding supportability, usability, maintenance, and configuration of Oracle BI applications

Requirements For Principal Business Intelligence Cloud Technical Support Engineer

  • Two years' experience in implementation, support, consulting or development in Business Intelligence products and/or Cloud products
  • Experience with log reading & analysis, BI reports/dashboards, ETL, data warehouse, data marts, SQL, PL/SQL
  • Skills in using industry standard tools and techniques
  • Diagnostic, monitoring and troubleshooting abilities
  • Very good command in spoken and written English
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
