Oracle's Infrastructure Industries Global Industry Unit (IGIU) is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design and implement an AI-powered platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role combines startup agility with enterprise stability, focusing on developing solutions that improve global access to clean energy and water while making construction and engineering more efficient and sustainable. The position involves working with cross-functional teams to integrate OCI AI capabilities, particularly Generative AI, into IGIU's product portfolio. You'll be responsible for cloud architecture, production operations, and performance management, ensuring reliability and scalability. Responsibilities For Cloud Platform Architect/ Engineer, AI Accelerator
- Design high-level architecture to integrate OCI AI services
- Define scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud architectures
- Integrate security best practices into network and service designs
- Lead and ensure compliance with security requirements
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation and standards
- Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues
- Design and implement automation and monitoring systems
- Work with cloud infrastructure team on implementation
- Present designs and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements For Cloud Platform Architect/ Engineer, AI Accelerator
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud)
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
- Comfortable working at all levels of the technical stack
- Solid experience with Linux
- Proficiency in IaaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Shell)
- Experience troubleshooting complex software/networking issues
- Strong communication skills
- Experience guiding teams on cloud-based design principles
- Experience with Kubernetes preferred
- DevOps experience preferred
