Principal DevOps Engineer

Oracle, a world leader in cloud solutions, is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, managing cloud environments, and working with containerization technologies. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in DevOps, strong skills in cloud platforms (especially OCI), and expertise in tools like Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
2. Automating infrastructure with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager
3. Managing cloud environments, focusing on OCI
4. Working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
5. Integrating APIs between cloud services
6. Implementing monitoring solutions using OCI Monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana
7. Automating tasks with Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
8. Ensuring security best practices and code quality

The role requires strong programming skills in Java/Python, experience with cloud concepts and tools, expertise in GitLab CI or Jenkins, and a thorough understanding of DevOps culture and Agile methodology. Knowledge of SaaS, multi-tenant development, cloud security, and familiarity with Generative AI, NLP, and ML-Ops are preferred.
