Description For Principal Member Technical Staff

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a strategic growth area offering comprehensive cloud services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. We are building a future-ready Gen2 cloud Data Science service platform with Cloud AI Cloud Service at its core.

The role involves developing scalable infrastructure for ML model training and deployment, building core AI services, and working on cutting-edge problems at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure. You'll be part of a team creating services in Computer Vision, NLP, Speech, and Decision Support that work out of the box for enterprises.

As a Principal Member Technical Staff, you'll lead the development of AI cloud services, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, and work with modern technologies like Java, Python, and Kubernetes. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning solutions while ensuring scalability and performance.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in ML model deployment, distributed systems, and cloud environments. You should be an expert in Java and Python, with deep understanding of data structures and algorithms. Responsibilities For Principal Member Technical Staff

  • Develop scalable infrastructure for ML model training and deployment
  • Build core AI services for Vision, Speech, Language, and Decision
  • Design POCs using AI Perpetual Services
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers
  • Lead research and development efforts
  • Experiment with ML models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax
  • Work with Cloud technologies and infrastructure

Requirements For Principal Member Technical Staff

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Statistics or Mathematics, AI, ML, Computer vision
  • 8+ years for Masters in designing, implementing, and deploying ML models in production
  • Experience with distributed systems using microservices architecture
  • Experience with cloud environments (OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Expert in Java/C++ (Java preferred)
  • Expert in Python
  • Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps processes
