Description For Principal Network Developer

As a Principal Network Developer at Oracle, you will lead network lifecycle management programs by defining high-level objectives and delivery procedures. You'll organize project technical milestones and supporting tasks, potentially working as a project technical lead coordinating the efforts of two or three engineers. This role involves collaborating across teams, serving as a technical SME in cross-functional activities, and having technical responsibility for moderately complex projects. You'll be responsible for decomposing high-level architectures into detailed designs, leading multiple engineers in developing network solutions, and working with supporting service teams to ensure proper monitoring and automation. The role also includes serving as a Tier 3 or specialized escalation point for network events, providing break-fix support for large-scale events, and acting as an SME for root cause analysis efforts. You'll develop scripts to automate complex tasks, potentially lead network automation design and delivery projects, and provide guidance to technical and senior technical staff members. Collaboration with vendor engineering and product teams is also a key aspect of this role. This position requires a deep understanding of networking protocols, automation, and datacenter design, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Oracle offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability coverage, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, parental leave, and more. The company is committed to diversity, work-life balance, and giving back to communities through volunteer programs.

Oracle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and considers qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
