Responsibilities For Principal Network Developer
- Lead network lifecycle management programs
- Define high-level objectives and delivery procedures
- Coordinate effort of two or three engineers as project technical lead
- Decompose high-level architectures into detailed designs
- Provide break-fix support for large-scale events
- Develop scripts to automate complex tasks
- Serve as technical lead on network automation projects
- Provide technical coaching and guidance to junior members
- Collaborate with vendor engineering and account managers
Requirements For Principal Network Developer
- 6 to 10+ years of experience
- Deep understanding of networking at protocol level
- Programming skills for automation
- Knowledge of BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
