Description For Principal Outbound Product Manager - Oracle Databases

As a member of the product management team, you will assist in the development of key initiatives, infrastructure and programs to enable our customers and technical sellers to work smarter, not harder, and get direct access to Oracle's Database technology in combination with Oracle's other platform solutions.

Additional responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Author/architect cross-solution workshops in the Oracle LiveLabs platform for multiple data management related offerings including migration, cloud, license and hybrid cloud configurations
  • Lead the Database Approval Council for the Oracle Workshop Management System
  • Lead and execute special events representing the DB PM org (e.g. Database Collective, Major OCW style events, customer events, etc)
  • Mentor junior team members and act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Database
  • Upgrade 19c workshops to 23ai
  • Support Database needs across multiple regions and organizations like marketing, field, partners and customers
  • Develop workshops for Oracle Database Product Management team that aligns with standards and corporate messaging
  • Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Documentation teams to understand the products and training needs
  • Manage certification process for Database Product Management

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 6-10 years Oracle Database Administration, database design, upgrades
  • Experience with Oracle Database 19c and various database technologies like Oracle GoldenGate, DataGuard, ASM, RMAN, Database Security, Data Pump and more.
  • Oracle Certified Associate and Oracle Certified Professional (OCA/OCP)
  • Solid communicator with the ability to articulate complex concepts
  • Oracle AI Foundation Certified Specialist
  • Proficient in using Linux, GitHub, and Zoom
  • Proficient in Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Expert in SQL and PL/SQL
  • Experience with Oracle Database 23ai is a plus
