Oracle is seeking a Principal Program Manager to join their Observability and Data Services team. This role is crucial in delivering highly available, integrated, and scalable platform services for enterprise-grade apps on the cloud. The position involves managing internal services and external OCI services such as Logging, Telemetry, OpenSearch, Streaming, and Queue. The ideal candidate will drive program management across organization-wide initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Responsibilities For Principal Program Manager
- Coordinate interdepartmental activities to ensure projects/products are completed on schedule
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Define milestones, success criteria, manage dependencies and deliver iteratively
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage internal and external communications with stakeholders
- Track priorities and committed actions
- Build and maintain consistent reporting across the service portfolio
- Influence and gain sponsorship from multiple stakeholders
- Provide regular status updates to Leadership
Requirements For Principal Program Manager
- 6+ years working as a program manager, project manager, or technical program manager
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong networking and negotiation skills
- Goal setting, KPI definition, Metrics definition, OKR framework familiarity
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of Developer Platform, Developer Experience, complex distributed systems
- Knowledge of the software development industry
