Description For Principal Program Manager, Safety, Security, & Assurance

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a driven Technical Program Manager to join their Cloud Compliance & Assurance organization. This role is crucial in ensuring OCI's IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services meet high compliance and security standards. The position requires deep expertise in cloud services, compliance, and security to guide engineering teams in building appropriate controls. As part of the team responsible for Compliance Architecture, Standards, and Continuous Compliance, you'll work with SMEs across Oracle to develop and maintain engineering standards. This high-visibility role involves leading key technical security initiatives, shaping OCI's Security and Compliance strategy, and enabling organizational growth. The role offers significant autonomy and requires strong executive communication skills, stakeholder management, and business analytics capabilities. You'll be instrumental in helping Oracle access new multibillion-dollar markets while ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance.

Responsibilities For Principal Program Manager, Safety, Security, & Assurance

  • Lead technical and business critical programs for Safety, Security and Assurance team
  • Deliver on short turnaround times across Business Operations focus areas
  • Analyze data and identify trends to provide recommendations to leadership
  • Prepare clear, concise reporting for different audiences including executive leadership
  • Build relationships and collaborate globally with stakeholders and partners
  • Ensure cloud services meet OCI's high compliance and security standards

Requirements For Principal Program Manager, Safety, Security, & Assurance

Python
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in technical field
  • 10+ years technical experience / 5+ years program management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Atlassian products
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and services
  • Knowledge of security best practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with DevSecOps, Secure SDLC, and cloud controls
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
