You'll be responsible for developing security tools, implementing secure development lifecycle practices, and conducting hardware security reviews. Responsibilities For Principal Security Engineer
- Advanced planning, design and build of security systems, applications, environments and architectures
- Provide technical advice for secure architecture design and development
- Participate in incident management team
- Evaluate existing and proposed technical architectures for security risk
- Research, evaluate, track, and manage information security threats
- Work with Senior management on multi-year security roadmap
- Provide counsel and guidance to junior level security operations engineers
Requirements For Principal Security Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of experience in security engineering or related field
- Experience building automated security solutions
- Strong security experience in Defensive Security, Offensive Security, or Service architecture
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with Python, R, or Java development
- Experience with statistical/mathematical predictive modeling
- Experience working in a large cloud or Internet software company
