Responsibilities For Principal Software Engineer - AI/ML Platform
- Design and build distributed, scalable, fault tolerant software components for Oracle Health ML platform
- Build and support data pipelines using big data technologies
- Build services to support real-time model inferencing
- Build tooling/infrastructure to support model training workflows
- Build tooling/infrastructure for model hosting and monitoring
- Mentor and develop other engineers
- Participate in software development lifecycle
- Balance product feature development and production operations
- Participate in on-call duties
Requirements For Principal Software Engineer - AI/ML Platform
- Proficiency in Java, C#, C/C++ and/or Python
- Experience with distributed systems at a cloud service provider
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
- Data Science and Machine Learning experience
- Experience building highly available services
- Knowledge of modern infrastructure components
- Production operations experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with AI Agents or LLM or Vector DB (preferred)
