Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next-generation cloud platform that supports mission-critical customer requirements globally. As a Principal Software Engineer in the OCI Media Services team, you'll work on developing cloud services enabling animation, film, and game development studios to migrate their production pipeline to the cloud. The role involves designing and implementing services for virtual animation workstations, digital asset management, high-performance storage, and render farm services.

You'll be joining a talented team building competitive offerings from the ground up, extending OCI's reach in the media and entertainment industry. Requirements For Principal Software Engineer - OCI Media Services

  • At least 6 years of software engineering work experience
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming in Java, C#, Golang, C++
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Good understanding of microservice-based architectures
