Description For Principal Technical Program Manager

Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure is a new organization focused on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, building a complete platform for modernized, automated healthcare. This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new cloud-centric applications from the ground up. As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you'll work across multi-functional teams to lead planning and designing technical solutions in an agile, fast-paced environment. The role involves managing complex projects, collaborating with various stakeholders, and driving technical initiatives from conception to delivery.

The position is part of Oracle's mission to improve healthcare and quality of life globally through better experience and easier access to health and research data. You'll work with distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience, making significant technical and business impact. The role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and proven experience collaborating in hybrid teams.

Responsibilities For Principal Technical Program Manager

  • Manage development and implementation of company products
  • Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending
  • Monitor projects from initiation through delivery
  • Organize interdepartmental activities
  • Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff
  • Provide technical support and direction
  • Define project scopes and lead technical solutions
  • Collaborate with program and product management teams
  • Handle risks and issues
  • Lead project status and working meetings

Requirements For Principal Technical Program Manager

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar
  • 8+ years of experience as hands-on technical project / program manager
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with technical design discussions
  • Strong knowledge of software development process models
  • Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services
