Description For Principal Test Developer (hybrid work)

Oracle Fusion Risks and Controls test automation team is looking for a Principal Test Developer. Our team provides test automation services for functional QA teams. Functional QA team provides test requirements and for which the automation team provides test automation solutions.

Principal Test Developers develop new automated tests, maintain existing test code, troubleshoot failing tests, develop test automation framework features. They guide less experienced test developers - they should provide technical solution detailed design covering test requirements. Principal Test Developers may work on clarifying test requirements with functional QA team.

The job requires using various 3rd party and home-grown libraries and tools. We automate tests for Oracle Fusion Applications which is a set of cloud products for enterprise customers. We automate web UI and web services. We implement internal tools and infrastructure.

Sample technologies involved:

  • TypeScript
  • Selenium, Axios
  • Mocha, Chai, Sinon
  • Git, Gerrit, Jenkins

Proficiency in any of the above-mentioned technologies is a plus. From the candidates we expect:

  • Enthusiasm for test automation and quality assurance
  • Strong desire to grow technically.

Location: Krakow - 3 days from office, 2 days remotely.

Responsibilities For Principal Test Developer (hybrid work)

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
  • Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.
  • Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
  • Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
