As a Product Manager/Strategy 2-ProdDev at Oracle, you will participate in all software and/or hardware product development life cycle activities. Your responsibilities include moving software products through the development cycle from design to implementation, testing, and marketing. You'll work as part of a team driving the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing of products from conception to distribution.
Key responsibilities:
- Define product specifications and strategy
- Gather and analyze information to create product specifications
- Review design specifications
- Communicate product strategy and functionality
- Initiate and foster relationships with other groups
- Review product documentation and collateral
- Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities
- Lead discussions with user groups and infrastructure architects
- Develop and test software solutions for on-premises or cloud deployments
- Launch and manage business performance of IT products
- Create and deliver software demonstrations to customers
- Conduct market and technology research to document product requirements
- Manage product lifecycle from launch to retirement
- Develop and execute product pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, or related technical field
- Experience with product management tools: financial spreadsheets, web pages, confluence folders with product details, marketing collateral, and PowerPoint presentations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of software development and cloud technologies
