Oracle Health Data Insights (HDI) is seeking a passionate and experienced Principal Software Engineer to join their platform team. This role focuses on building and evolving a premier health data platform with intelligent services to improve individuals' health. As a Senior Principal Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for adapting existing platforms and defining the control-plane for cloud and product layers, while ensuring the highest levels of system stability.

Responsibilities For Remote Senior Principal Software Engineer – Platform
- Design, develop, and support Oracle Health Data Insights control-plane
- Be a technical lead and direct complex, cross-functional projects
- Analyze and understand internal stakeholder use cases, transition those into outcomes
- Drive the team towards building a scalable and performant Cloud management platform
- Direct root cause analysis of critical business and production issues
- Own and drive best practices and decompose tasks within the teams
- Partner with internal organization to provide secure, efficient, world class software
- Be personable and strive to deliver a world class experience
Requirements For Remote Senior Principal Software Engineer – Platform
- Track record of designing, building, and maintaining software at scale
- Prior senior-level software engineering experience at a startup, or mid to large sized corporation
- Prior experience using and expanding Kubernetes
- Prior experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, to drive designs and outcomes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Python, Go, or Java programming language proficiency
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems
- Willingness to act as the subject matter expert
