The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team offers unique opportunities for smart, hands-on security engineers to build and operate massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. The OCI Hardware Security group conducts security assessments of production hardware, develops requirements for future components, and works closely with operations and engineering teams to improve Oracle Cloud's overall operational security posture. This role involves developing requirements for new vendors and hardware, performing architectural reviews and penetration testing, providing consulting on security risks, and engaging with Oracle Hardware Division and third-party vendors. The position requires expertise in areas such as server architectures, baseboard management controllers, UEFI and platform firmware, smart NICs, storage devices, and network controllers. The role also involves creating planning roadmaps, participating in external standards groups, and communicating key security topics to Senior Management.
