Senior Applications Engineer

Oracle is seeking a Full Stack Java Programmer to join their Financial Development Group in Mumbai or Pune. The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy applications for the banking industry. They should be a technology champion, results-driven, and passionate about building great products and solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding functional data models
• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications
• Working with architects to implement new capabilities
• Ensuring high performance, availability, and scalability
• Creating REST API endpoints and integrating with databases and services
• Writing automated tests and creating test cases
• Working with distributed teams to build the right products
• Owning and driving key end-to-end products/services
• Ensuring customer success and delivering fixes/patches
• Helping build a high-performance organization

Required qualifications:

• BE/BTECH/MS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent technical design skills
• Passion for continuous learning and applying cutting-edge technology
• Deep understanding of design principles and methods
• Expert knowledge of Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Angular/OJET, and frameworks
• Experience with Agile Scrum and excellent communication skills
• 6 to 10+ years of experience
