Senior Cloud Operation Engineer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Cloud Operation Engineer to join their Compute organization, a core team responsible for providing critical VM and BM compute power services. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on operational experience to ensure the reliability and performance of OCI's production environments.

The ideal candidate will work closely with product teams on shared full-stack ownership of cloud services, handling critical customer incidents, deployments, and improvements to enhance security, performance, and scalability. You'll be responsible for maintaining high availability while implementing zero-downtime deployments and automating manual processes.

Key responsibilities include incident management, production environment support, release management, and root cause analysis. The role requires strong Linux administration skills, experience with virtualization technologies, and expertise in cloud computing concepts. You'll work with modern tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring systems like Prometheus/Grafana.
