As a Senior Cloud Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of technical problem-solving, working directly with customers to resolve complex issues related to OCI Services. The position involves a 24x7 shift rotation, requiring flexibility and dedication to provide round-the-clock support to our global customer base.

The ideal candidate will bring 3-5+ years of experience with strong expertise in cloud computing, Linux/Windows operating systems, virtualization, and networking protocols. You'll need to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for continuous learning in cloud technologies.

Responsibilities For Senior Cloud Support Engineer

  • Provide exceptional customer service, technical assistance and training to internal and external customers
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' needs
  • Assess ticket priority and escalate as necessary
  • Resolve issues timely and accurately to meet metrics and SLAs
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of customer accounts
  • Monitor release notes for new or updated services
  • Prepare evaluations of services and recommend improvements
  • Develop customer-facing or internal documentation

Requirements For Senior Cloud Support Engineer

Linux
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor) and Identity Management
  • Networking expertise (DNS, TCP/IP, IPsec, SSL VPN, Load Balancing)
  • Experience with Cloud services, Cloud Storage, Cloud Computing
  • Must be a Romanian citizen
  • English language proficiency
  • Willing to work 24x7 shift rotation
