Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Engineer. The Sr. CI/CD Engineer is responsible for the set-up, maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/integration infrastructure using GitLab. They will create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple Java-based Projects, write build and deployment scripts, and support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support full automation of CI/Testing
• Develop policies, standards, guidelines, and governance for CI/CD operations and developer work
• On-board, train, and support developers in source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment
• Enable DevOps by moving code from Dev/Test to Staging and Production
• Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Agile Software Development and Management methods
• Expertise with build automation tools, GitLab preferred (Jenkins also mentioned)
• Experience with build-time dependency management, unit testing, and code-coverage tools
• Good understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation in Agile-based Continuous Integration environments
