Senior Director, Software Development

This Senior Director position leads the Physical Network Engineering organization, driving the evolution of OCI's network infrastructure. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise in cloud networking technologies.

The position requires leading multiple engineering teams, developing long-term strategy, and ensuring continuous improvement in network design and deployment. You'll work closely with other Networking leaders to align technology across physical and virtual network services, compute, GPU products, and various network operations teams.

As a senior leader, you'll be responsible for coaching team members, managing programs, and providing technical mentorship. The role demands extensive knowledge of networking technologies, cloud architecture, and proven experience in leading large organizations. You'll drive the roadmap for network product development while maintaining strong relationships with customers and industry partners.

Key focus areas include optical networks optimization, AI infrastructure networks, and strategic planning for cloud compute initiatives. You'll work directly with the Senior Vice President of AI Infrastructure and collaborate across multiple organizations within Compute, Networking, and Hardware Product Groups.
