Senior Manager Network Development

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team offers unique opportunities to build and operate extensive scale cloud services. The Network Region Build (NRB) team is seeking a Senior Manager of Network Development to lead the deployment of greenfield infrastructure and network connectivity for new OCI regions. This role combines technical expertise in large-scale network operations with strong leadership abilities.

The position involves designing, deploying, and operating global cloud networks, including data center fabrics, AI infrastructure, edge networks, backbone, and multi-cloud initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep networking knowledge and programming skills for automation at scale.

As a leader, you'll be responsible for team building, coaching, and tackling complex challenges in network design and implementation. The role requires expertise in operations, customer experience, and the ability to operate in large, complex teams while managing both detailed execution and executive communication.

Key challenges include scaling the business to support exponential growth, meeting capacity demands of large-scale customers, and managing dedicated cloud and multi-cloud expansions.
