Senior Manager, Software Development - Streaming

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Development to lead an engineering team focused on developing and delivering cloud services for streaming providers. This role involves building new cloud services specifically tailored to the media and entertainment industry, including playback, content augmentation, video transcoding and packaging, content delivery, streaming analytics, and flexible billing & cost analysis.

The position requires an experienced leader who can work with executive leadership to chart success paths, bringing substantial experience in building, delivering, and operating cloud services. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of video playback, encoding technologies, content delivery using CDNs, and live streaming. Strong soft skills and technical acumen are essential, as the role involves mentoring engineers and driving complex technical projects independently.

As a Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for recruiting and developing high-performing engineering teams, establishing operational excellence, and driving innovation within the organization. A BS/CS in Computer Science or related field is required, along with proven experience in cloud services development and working with distributed teams.
