Responsibilities For Senior Manager Software Engineering/Large Scale Distributed Systems
- Hire and grow outstanding engineers
- Define and provide inputs to technology strategy and architecture vision
- Inspire a culture of 'Always On' Service Operations
- Take ownership of defining and driving roadmaps for critical customer features
- Be the point of contact for service critical issues
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and technical leads
- Manage Globally Distributed engineering team
- Allocate resources, set priorities, and manage schedules
Requirements For Senior Manager Software Engineering/Large Scale Distributed Systems
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical field
- 12+ years of software engineering experience (2+ years in cloud services)
- 5+ years of senior management experience
- Strong technical understanding in building complex, scalable, low latency services
- Deep knowledge of large-scale compute, network, and storage systems
- Experience in Distributed Systems
