Senior Software Developer

Oracle is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their Database test development group in Bangalore. This role involves working on Oracle Database, a complex and widely-used product, where you'll face the challenge of foreseeing customer expectations, simulating real-life problems, and developing test frameworks. You'll be part of the DB Cloud Test Dev Team, gaining in-depth experience with various database cloud service offerings including Oracle Multicloud on Azure and GCP, Exadata Cloud Service, and Autonomous Database Public Cloud Service. The position requires strong technical skills in database fundamentals, programming languages like Python, Java, and SQL, and experience with Linux/Unix systems. You'll work alongside highly motivated engineers with deep database administration experience, developing test frameworks for Oracle Database Cloud across multiple aspects including provisioning, migration, and security.
