Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML
- Design and build distributed, scalable, fault tolerant software components for Oracle Health ML platform on OCI
- Build and support data pipelines using big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop
- Build services to support real-time model inferencing using technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, Flink
- Build tooling/infrastructure to support model training workflows on healthcare data
- Build tooling/infrastructure to support model hosting and monitoring
- Mentor and develop other engineers on the team
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle
- Balance between product feature development and production operational concerns
- Participate in on-call for the services within the team
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML
- Proficiency in Java, C#, C/C++ and/or Python
- Experience working on distributed systems at a cloud service provider
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
- Data Science and Machine Learning experience
- Experience with highly available services
- Knowledge of service-oriented design patterns
- Experience with production operations
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience with AI Agents or LLM or Vector DB (plus)
