Responsibilities For Service Operations Engineer

  • Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize production server hardware and software
  • Provide technical support for complex technical issues
  • Lead problem management cases
  • Coordinate support cases with internal technical resources and third party vendors
  • Manage storage infrastructure of Oracle system and database appliances
  • Assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching
  • Provide on-call support on a rotating basis

Requirements For Service Operations Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience participating in or running incident bridges
  • Customer obsession, passion for delighting customers
  • Willingness to work in 24/7 NOC; 4X10 schedule including weekends
  • Security clearance required
