This role involves managing critical production environments in a 24x7 operational setting, working on a 4x10 schedule including rotating weekends across day, mid, and night shifts. Responsibilities For Service Operations Engineer (JoinOCI-Ns2)

  • Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize production server hardware and software
  • Provide escalated technical support for complex technical issues
  • Coordinate escalated support cases and lead problem resolution
  • Assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching
  • Work on standardization projects for hardware and software
  • Provide on-call support on a rotating basis
  • Operation of production environments including systems and databases

Requirements For Service Operations Engineer (JoinOCI-Ns2)

Linux
  • An active TS/SCI is required, active Polygraph preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience participating in or running incident bridges
  • Customer obsession, passion for delighting customers
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new technical domains
  • Willingness to work in 24/7 NOC; 4X10 schedule including weekends
