Responsibilities For Site Reliability Developer 3

  • Work with a SaaS Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on shared full stack ownership
  • Design and delivery of mission critical stack, focusing on security, resiliency, scale, and performance
  • Partner with development teams in defining and implementing service architecture improvements
  • Monitor, install, patch, and upgrade Oracle Fusion Middleware, Applications, and databases
  • Address complex customer system issues and document technical solutions
  • Implement DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage and operate infrastructure and configuration of microservices
  • Participate in developing and enforcing cloud system security policies

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 3+ years managing large scale, highly distributed services infrastructures
  • Expert Linux/Unix performance and stability troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in database management (Oracle DB, MYSQL, Postgres)
  • Proficient with writing services/task automation in Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, JavaScript, or Java
  • Deep knowledge of Linux internals and host-based networking
  • 2+ years managing host virtualization technologies
