As a Principal Network Reliability Engineer, you'll join the Network Reliability Engineering team focused on providing automated, scalable services for OCI networks. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and operating highly scalable solutions for Oracle's next-generation Cloud Infrastructure. The role requires expertise in complex distributed systems, strong coding skills, and deep understanding of networking principles. Responsibilities For Site Reliability Developer 4
- Work with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on shared full stack ownership of services
- Design and delivery of mission critical stack, focusing on security, resiliency, scale, and performance
- Partner with development teams in defining and implementing improvements in service architecture
- Act as ultimate escalation point for complex or critical issues
- Understand and explain the affect of product architecture decisions on distributed systems
- Utilize deep understanding of service topology and dependencies for troubleshooting
Requirements For Site Reliability Developer 4
- 5+ years of experience in network and software development
- Proficiency with Java/Python/C++ and Object Oriented programming
- Proficiency with network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of basic data structures, search/sort algorithms
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
