Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Principal Engineer for their Sovereign Cloud team, focusing on government and classified cloud regions. This role involves operating production environments and systems supporting critical business operations for Singapore's governmental sovereign cloud environment. The position requires deep technical expertise in Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support for complex production environment challenges. As a Principal Engineer, you'll guide junior engineers, participate in large-scale incident management, and help develop new processes. The role demands expertise in system administration, performance optimization, and high-availability requirements. You'll work with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on full stack ownership of services, focusing on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technology while supporting critical government infrastructure. The role requires security clearance and is open to Singaporeans and PRs only. You'll be part of a team providing 24/7 support with rotating shifts, ensuring the highest levels of service reliability and performance for sovereign cloud operations.
